About this position:
As a Sr. Art Director, you have the ability to think both strategically and creatively to generate innovative ideas. Along with strong conceptual and design skills, you’re a master of layouts and all the elements that go into them – type, illustration and/or photography, paper, ink, etc. That includes experience creating layouts and concepts for direct and promotional marketing, advertising and interactive.
While working as a team in conjunction with a Sr. Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for concepting, visualizing and executing a marketing strategy to the high standards our agency and clients expect. You’ll use your deep knowledge of direct marketing, print advertising, digital communications and the latest industry trends to bring your exceptional ideas to life. And just as important will be your ability to prioritize, problem solve and work well under pressure to meet project deadlines.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Art/Design and 5-7 years’ experience in Art Direction at an advertising agency. The right candidate must be able to create in a wide range of mediums -- direct mail, print ads, outdoor, point-of-sale, brochures, collateral, landing pages and e-mail. Which means you also have advanced knowledge of the MAC, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Xpress and In-Design. You can also communicate clearly and effectively with clients, associates and respond professionally to creative direction, constructive critique and client feedback.
