As a Jr. Strategist, you will support the full spectrum of market and consumer research and analysis. You will learn and develop every skillset in the process including customer, competitive and market insight (including primary, secondary research, qualitative and quantitative research; brief writing, research design, implementation and analysis; data analysis and reporting; digital marketing assessments and brand audits; and presentation development, client presentations, etc.).
Working under the guidance of senior strategy team members, you will be responsible for delivering customer, competitive and market insights. Analysis of technology, economic and social trends. Develop and conduct research techniques to unearth deep insights that spark the creative process. Craft inspiring creative briefs and work closely with creatives to translate insight into ideas across all media. Lead smaller projects and assist in leading large projects with senior guidance. Execute projects across all media from brief writing through to presentation. Evaluate the effects and results of the campaign in the marketplace. And maintain accurate timesheets by required deadlines.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years’ experience in advertising as a junior planner or intern at a creative agency or on a creative brand. Proven quantitative research experience and qualitative research experience with an ability to see and adapt insights. Innate curiosity and aptitude to learn about marketing, brands, advertising, communications, culture, people, etc. An appreciation for creativity, ideas and desire to be part of a creative environment. Superb written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to motivate and lead others around a great idea. And the ability to manage multiple projects.
